Manchester is a wonderful, happening city, and we were so excited to be returning to the Manc landmark Old Granada Studios on Sunday 22nd June.

Unfortunately, precisely because Manchester is a wonderful, happening city, there were lots of things happening there on that day!  Most notably, the Manchester Day parade, which meant roadblocks and diversions right around our venue.  As you can imagine, this had some effect on the number of visitors who actually made it to see us (well done people, you know who you are!)

Those who managed to find their way to us were rewarded with the pick of an unbeatable array of prime vintage treasures.  On what evidence can we base this extravagant assertion?  Please consider Kinky Melon's Retro Boutique's Facebook album of photos, and our own album too.

Our fulsome thanks to everyone who shared their photos online, especially lovely stallie Gem of Gem's Bits n Bobs - it's practically your page!

All the photos link back to their original sources, and all the linkified names will take you to meet some of our plucky, pathfinding contributors (as ever, we bear no responsibility for the content of external sites!)

If you would like to contribute, just tweet your photo/s @Vintage_Village (don't forget the underscore!) or post them on our Facebook page.  If you use Instagram, please add the hashtag #vintagevillageuk so I can find your shots.

And if you can give a name to the traders who supplied your best buys, that's very much appreciated.  I always like to give credit where it is due!

Coming up next is a return to our beloved home turf, the Covered Market Hall in Stockport, for our 1960s/Mod themed Toggery Fair on Sunday 13th July.
